The frustration of the countries Golfers continues...snow, ice and now the rain. I'm sorry to be the one to point it out but, realistically it could be weeks before you will be back on the course.
With even the driving ranges out of action through the worst of the weather, it all seems pretty hopeless doesn't it? So what are you doing in the mean time to improve your game for the season ahead?
If the answer is not a lot or worse nothing at all, it's time for a rethink...
Putting
You can practise your putting almost anywhere!
And we at Yes Golf! are your natural allies.
Our extensive arsenal of training aids can all be used in-doors, anytime and almost anywhere (not the bedroom though...please.)
Time spent on your Putting now, through the bad weather, will pay dividends on the greens when spring arrives and you can be ready.
So what are you waiting for? You owe it to yourself and your Golf game. You owe it to your family and friends...believe me you do, because living with a frustrated Golfer is grim.
So why not get together with your golfing partners and order yourselves a selection of training aids that you can share between you?
Organise putting competitions...
Informal competitions in your homes, or ask your club if can organise something there...chances are they will be only too glad to get you there to boost their takings at the bar.
The Rail
'The Rail' in particular, is the perfect tool for competitions. Get some practice in before your challenge your friends and they will be truly amazed.
Chart your progress.
Before you start your new putting training regime, make a note of your starting point. Write down your average putting stats so that you can chart your progress in same way you would if you were on a diet. True you can't get on the course right now, but don't bother telling me you can't remember an average round at your home course. I've never known a golfer who couldn't remember virtually every round of golf they have ever played, shot for shot, so lace up your virtual golf shoes and relive an average round. That way, once you are back on the course and temporary greens are a fading memory, you will really be able to see the difference the winter practice has made to your game.
Keep in touch
Let us know how you get on, which training aides you found most helpful that kind of thing. We really love to hear how our products have helped your game. |
