News - FIFTH CONSECUTIVE TOUR WIN FOR ESOTERIC GOLF TECHNOLOGY

2009/09/22

For the 5th consecutive week, Swedish putting aid engineers Esoteric Golf Technology of Gothenburg have enjoyed a European Tour win.

Rafael Cabrera Bello clinched his first European Tour win with an amazing final round of 60, notching up only 24 putts! Overall it also means 87 Tour wins globally for Esoteric since the launch of the Path Finder in 2006 when Esoteric started taking the count.

The company has always been regarded as the Wunderkinde of putting aids, with the combination of intelligent design, high build quality and very, very good results in putting improvement at all levels. In addition to their undoubted popularity among Tour players and their coaches, strategic partnerships with golfing giants such as Yes! Golf have helped make the products firm favourites on Tour.

The training aids themselves range from the marvellously simple Absolute Reader (a single length of moulded aluminium) to the Putting Guide (one of the most complex and precision-engineered putting aids and custom-fitting tools ever designed), with clever products in-between like the hugely popular Path Finder.

“It’s really fantastic to see the players that were up and coming in 2006/2007 excelling to this level, ” says Tommy Larsson, Marketing & Tour Promotion at Esoteric Golf. “And it’s doubly gratifying that they keep requesting our products to aid them in their success.”

Other notables in the field; Sören Hansen was strong in contention for the 2nd week running, and Pelle Edberg had his best week of the year in 10th place, with #1 spot in driving distance, #2 putts per GIR and #1 putts per round.

Esoteric products are distributed throughout Europe, USA, Asia-Pacific and Japan by Yes! Golf.
