 A creditable European Master class for Yes! Golf
Golf fans were treated to a marvellous return to form for David Howell at this weekend’s European Masters in Switzerland, after a long spell battling several very troublesome injuries.
The popular Englishman from Swindon finished a tied 7th on 12 under par with 272 over the four rounds, just 12 off the lead and finishing 4th overall in the putts per GIR leaderboard. At the start of the 3rd round he birdied the first three holes and went into a tie for fourth place only two strokes off the lead.
Howell is also known as probably one of the most consistently good putters on Tour with his trusty 32” Callie Yes! Putter. He banks a cheque for just under €50,000.
South Africa Yes! Man Thomas Aiken, meanwhile, was Friday’s leader, shooting a 64 to finish at 10 under, courtesy of a 7-foot birdie putt on the 18th with his Natalie sight-alignment putter.
