 A Successful SAS Masters for Yes! Golf
Southport, England 27th July 2009 - Englishman Lee Slattery celebrated a tied 4th place in the SAS Masters in Malmo Sweden at the weekend. And much to the delight of his support team at Yes! Golf in the UK, Lee’s customary cool on the greens put him at number 2 in the putting stats with an average of just 26.0 putts per round.
Slattery – a long term user of Yes! Golf putters and coaching philosophy who actually led after the first round in Sweden – exudes a rare confidence around the greens and has worked hard in recent months on improving his flatstick play even more and it has shown in his marked improvement in putting stats.
According to Yes! Golf tour rep and Harold Swash Director of Instruction Phil Kenyon, Slattery was one of the first Tour players to pick up one of the recently launched adjustable hosel putters, the Tracy III. And this has clearly done him no harm either.
In addition, Oscar Henningson from Sweden was also using a Yes! Abbie putter to great effect (à la fellow Swede Henrik Stenson, who uses a Donna) that he picked up in Munich at the BMW International at the end of June.
