Yes! Golf SWS (Shaft Weighting System)

Shaft weighting system--- fitted to alter movement dynamics

•         Light weight aluminium alloy shaft (80g) has a wider diameter wall thickness towards the tip than a typical shaft. This fact, along with the rigidity of the alloy, markedly reduce the radial torque or twisting effect when struck off-centre. This keeps the putter face from deflecting as much when struck towards the heel or toe. The benefit is obvious when dispersion patterns are observed on miss-hit putts.

•         Allows weight to be redistributed elsewhere in the shaft using a series of weights 50g - 200g that can be dropped into the shaft at a fixed position ‘under the hands’

The additional weight increases the MOI of the putter. This is due to the increased mass of the whole putter.

•         The weight, when placed in the "right position" stabilizes the stroke. The jitteriness that can be observed on the graphs and videos when tracking the putter head with sensitive equipment shows a marked smoothing of the stroke path.

•         The weighting system smoothes the initial acceleration of the putter head as it changes direction from backstroke to through-stroke thereby making it easier to maintain a more constant acceleration through impact and beyond. This constant acceleration as opposed to increasing allows a player to control both distance and direction better than a conventionally weighted putter.

•         Ball rolls earlier.  Initial testing reveals that over a 12' putt on a green that stimps at 9, the ball roll improvement measured in degrees is approximately 10% earlier than without SWS.

•         Marginal increase in the overall weight of the putter but this is not achieved by making the entire putter unreasonably heavy. This allows the player to still feel the head of the putter by maintaining the finer feel-related motor functions necessary to putt well in varied conditions.
